Making Your Good Work Impossible to Ignore

Making Your Good Work Impossible to Ignore introduces the “Cookie Culture Method,” a simple, practical approach to closing the gap between the work people do and the work others actually see. At its core, the book reframes visibility as an act of clarity—not self-promotion—using “cookies,” or small, intentional moments of micro-recognition, to share what happened and why it mattered in a natural, human way.

Through relatable examples and bite-sized guidance, the book shows how quiet, behind the-scenes contributions—often the most valuable—can be made visible without ego, performance, or politics.

The tone is warm, smart, and quietly empowering, blending practical workplace insight with a light, memorable metaphor that feels approachable and even playful.

Ultimately, the book is about helping people communicate their value clearly, build trust, and create a culture where meaningful work is recognized—not by being louder, but by being clearer and more intentional.

The Horse Wisdom Advantage

Five Leadership Truths No MBA Teaches

At CanterPointe LLC, we believe effective leadership is not about control. It is about creating conditions where people can confidently move forward together.

In today's business world, leaders are surrounded by frameworks, methodologies, and management theories. Yet some of the most powerful lessons about leadership, trust, communication, and influence can be learned outside the boardroom.

Horses have spent thousands of years surviving and thriving through awareness, connection, consistency, and trust.

They respond authentically to the environment around them and provide remarkable insights into what truly drives human leadership.

The Horse Wisdom Advantage® translates these timeless lessons into practical leadership principles that help leaders build stronger relationships, navigate change, and create cultures where people and organizations flourish.

Surviving and Thriving in a Toxic Workplace

A Fable for Protecting Your Health, Clarity, and Career
(Upcoming)

Set in the mythical kingdom of Ledgerfall, this story follows a humble scribe who enters the Gilded Keep seeking honest work, and instead encounters a court of distortions: the Shadow Chancellor, the Whispering Wraiths, the Mirror Mage, and the Burnout Dragon.

As reality bends and confidence frays, the scribe learns forbidden arts: the Quill that records truth, wards that set boundaries without war, scripts that resist twisting, and a compass that chooses the safest road forward.

This fable guides readers through five stages offering a gentle, imaginative roadmap for protecting your health, reclaiming clarity, and building a future where work doesn’t cost you your self.

What My Horse Taught Me About Being Human

Quiet Truths About Life, Leadership, and Connection
(Upcoming)

What My Horse Taught Me About Being Human is an insightful exploration of leadership, trust, communication, vulnerability, and emotional intelligence told through the profound and practical lessons horses teach us every day. This work reveals how equine behavior mirrors human behavior in ways that are both surprising and deeply clarifying. Readers will discover how a horse’s need for consistency, calm direction, clear boundaries, and authentic presence offers a powerful blueprint for leading and living with integrity.

Through real-world parallels and reflective storytelling, this book illuminates how horses respond to energy rather than titles, intention rather than words, and truth rather than performance. Their reactions become a mirror that helps us understand our own patterns: how we build trust, how we communicate under pressure, how we regulate emotion, and how we show up when others depend on us.

Ultimately, it’s a guide to growing as a leader and as a human—one grounded in the quiet wisdom of a creature who never lies, never pretends, and always responds to who we really are.
